So this is it. We have lift off.
“What’s PIP stand for?” I hear you ask, well that is short for Performance and Injury Prevention.
Today was the day I decided that I am going to go full tilt into golf fitness.
My name is Mike Aunger and I am a fully qualified sports physiotherapist with a passion for golf and fitness. So combining the two seems quite natural.
I have just bought a k-vest for screening athlete’s (yes golfers are athlete’s contradictory to popular belief) alongside my physiotherapy knowledge this will give me data that I can use alongside golf coaches such as @glenportelli to improve golfers to acheive their golf goals.
Today started with a really great round of golf with Ben Hacker (no joke, that’s his name), who started the Pinseekerz app. We halved the match and along the way worked out a positive plan to grow our repsective business’.
So along with the K-vest, the Titlesit Performance Institute (TPI) training and some solid networking over the past week or so, the lights are all turning green to start this business.
So i’m pumped. Be prepared for content that’s going to show you how to assess your swing, improve your body and in turn your golf swing. This will all be focused around improving you as a golfer whilst also giving you a way to improve your health and fitness alongside your strength and flexibility. We’ll be releasing the content via various outlets, (facebook.com/golfpip, twitter.com/golfpip, youtube.com/golfpip and our newsletter) so keep an for these and sign up for our newsletter
I’m looking forward to interacting with you and can’t wait to get you on that journey to breaking 80 or whatever it may be that you want to get out of this wonderful and crazy game called golf.
